Best Mobile Under ₹12,000 in India (2026): Which Phone Suits You?
Confused about the best mobile under 12000? Answer three questions and find your phone: AMOLED, camera, gaming or battery picks with October 2026 prices.
Here is a little secret about phones at ₹12,000: there is no single winner. One phone has the best screen, another plays games better, and a third takes nicer photos. So rather than ranking them blindly, this guide asks you three questions. Your answers point to the best mobile under 12000 for you.
- Best screen: Samsung Galaxy M17 5G (Super AMOLED, rare at this price).
- Best for games: Moto G45 5G.
- Best daylight camera: Vivo T3 Lite 5G.
- Best battery: Redmi 15C 5G (6,000mAh, 33W).
- Best clean software: Lava Bold N1 5G.
Question 1: Want the Best Screen on a Mobile Under 12000?
If you watch a lot of videos, the screen matters more than anything else. However, most phones under ₹12,000 use HD+ LCD panels. They are fine, but colours look flat next to an AMOLED screen. So for video lovers, the best mobile under 12000 is the one with AMOLED.
Pick: Samsung Galaxy M17 5G
The Galaxy M17 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with deep blacks and punchy colours. In addition, it has a triple camera led by a 50MP sensor and a 13MP selfie camera. Samsung's long update policy is a bonus. The launch price is just above ₹12,000, but bank offers on Amazon usually bring it into budget.
- AMOLED screen at a budget price
- Samsung updates and service
- Sold on Amazon
- 90Hz, not 120Hz
- 25W charger may be sold separately

Question 2: Need the Best Gaming Mobile Under 12000?
If you play games, look at the chip, not the RAM. Most phones here use the Dimensity 6300. However, one phone steps up, and it is the best mobile under 12000 for gamers.
Pick: Moto G45 5G
The Moto G45 uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, which is noticeably faster in games than most rivals at this price. It also has a 120Hz screen with Gorilla Glass 3, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a soft vegan-leather back. Motorola's clean Android helps too. The main weakness is the HD+ resolution and average low-light photos.
- Strongest gaming chip in this list
- Stereo speakers
- Clean software
- HD+ screen
- Night photos are average
Question 3: Is the Camera Your Priority?
If you click a lot of photos for Instagram or family groups, colour and skin tones matter more than megapixels. In that case, this is the best mobile under 12000 for you.
Pick: Vivo T3 Lite 5G
The T3 Lite uses a 50MP Sony main sensor and Vivo's image processing, so daylight photos and portraits look natural. It is light and comfortable to hold, and it has the Dimensity 6300 chip. However, the screen is 90Hz and charging is a slow 15W.
- Natural photos and portraits
- Comfortable design
- 90Hz screen
- Slow charging
