Upcoming Flagship Phones in India (Nov 2026 – Mar 2027): Launch Dates, Expected Prices and Which to Wait For

Every year around this time, the same question lands in our inbox: "Should I buy a flagship now, or wait for the new ones?" This year the answer matters more than usual, because phones have become noticeably more expensive. So we went through every launch that is official, teased or seriously rumoured. The result is this guide to the upcoming flagship phones in India between now and March 2027.

We have kept it simple. For each phone you'll find what it is, when it's expected, what it might cost, and our honest take on who should wait for it.

Updated 23 October 2026. Prices and specs of phones that haven't launched yet come from company teasers and reports by Digit, 91mobiles, Smartprix and MacRumors. Treat them as expected, not final.

Why Upcoming Flagship Phones Cost More in India

Before we get to the phones, a quick word on price. Memory chips have become much more expensive because AI companies are buying huge amounts of them for their servers. Phone makers are now passing that cost on to us, as 91mobiles explains. That's why most of the upcoming flagship phones in India below will cost more than last year's models. If you want the bigger picture, our smartphone trends 2027 guide covers it.

The Upcoming Flagship Phones in India That Are Already Here

Oppo Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max

The first phone of this new wave has already arrived. Oppo launched the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max in India on 22 October, and sales start on 29 October on Amazon, Flipkart and Oppo's own store.

The Pro Max is one of the first phones in India to use MediaTek's new 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, while the regular Find X10 gets the Dimensity 9600M. Both come with big silicon-carbon batteries of up to 8,000mAh and a 200MP main camera.

The surprise was the price. The Find X10 starts at ₹1,39,999, and the Pro Max costs ₹1,99,999, according to Digit's launch report. That's higher than most leaks had suggested. If you want a top camera phone right now and your budget allows it, this is the one to look at. Otherwise, wait for the cheaper options below.

Confirmed Flagship Phones Coming to India

Motorola Signature 27

Motorola Signature 27Representative image.

This is the phone we are most curious about. Motorola confirmed at India Mobile Congress 2026 that the Signature 27 will come to India along with its global release, which Motorola has pointed to November.

On paper, it has everything you'd want from a flagship. There's the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 6.8-inch 165Hz LTPO screen and a 6,000mAh battery with 90W charging. According to 91mobiles, it also gets a 200MP periscope zoom camera. Motorola is also promising seven years of Android updates, which is rare.

Reports expect a price of around ₹70,000 to ₹90,000. If it really lands under ₹1 lakh, it could easily be the best value flagship of the season.

iQOO 16

iQOO 16Representative image.

iQOO's CEO confirmed the India launch at IMC as well, although there's no date yet. Most reports point to December or early 2027.

The China version already tells us what to expect. It runs the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and packs an 8,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. In China it costs CNY 5,999, roughly ₹86,000. iQOO usually prices aggressively here, so a sub-₹1 lakh price looks likely.

If you game a lot or simply hate charging your phone every night, this is the one to wait for. Camera lovers, though, may prefer the vivo or Motorola.

Rumoured Upcoming Flagship Phones in India

Xiaomi 18 Pro

Xiaomi 18 ProRepresentative image.

Xiaomi India has teased the 18 Pro as "coming soon", but hasn't shared a date. Reports suggest it may be the only model of the series we get, with the Pro Max and the Ultra skipping India this time.

It uses the regular Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 rather than the Extreme version, so it won't be the fastest phone here. What it does have is two 200MP cameras, a main and a telephoto, which should make it a very good all-round camera phone. In China it starts at CNY 5,999 (about ₹86,000), and Indian price estimates range from ₹70,000 to ₹1 lakh.

vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max

If photos matter most to you, keep an eye on this one. vivo launches the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max in Europe on 27 October, with Zeiss-tuned cameras and the Dimensity 9600 Pro chip.

vivo hasn't confirmed an Indian launch yet. That said, earlier X-series phones usually arrived here a few weeks after Europe, so a December launch wouldn't surprise us. Pricing for India is still unknown.

OnePlus 16R

OnePlus has had a quiet year, but the 16R is expected to change that. Leaks say it is a rebranded OnePlus Ace 7 with last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a very fast 165–185Hz screen, a battery of around 9,000mAh and even a small built-in cooling fan for gaming.

Expected pricing is around ₹70,000 to ₹80,000. Since none of this is official yet, we'd wait for OnePlus to confirm the launch before planning around it.

Upcoming Flagship Phones in India for Early 2027

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S27 UltraRepresentative image.

Samsung usually launches its S series in January or February, and this time reports point to four models: the S27, S27+, a new S27 Pro and the S27 Ultra. The smaller models may use Samsung's own Exynos 2700, while the Ultra is expected to run the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in most markets.

The bad news is the price. Of all the upcoming flagship phones in India, this will probably be the most expensive. US reports suggest the Ultra could cost $100 to $200 more than the S26 Ultra, so an Indian price above ₹1.5 lakh looks likely. If that's too much, last year's model will see big discounts, and our Samsung Galaxy deals page tracks them.

iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e

Apple has split its launches this time. The iPhone 18 Pro models and the foldable iPhone Duo arrived in late 2026, while the standard iPhone 18 and the cheaper iPhone 18e are expected in spring 2027, most likely around March.

Prices haven't been announced. If you need an iPhone today, though, the current models are often discounted, and our best iPhone to buy right now guide can help you choose.

iPhone Air 2

The thin iPhone is coming back, and it may fix its biggest weakness. Analyst Jeff Pu expects the Air 2 to get a second 48MP ultra-wide camera and a faster 2nm A20 Pro chip, as reported by MacRumors. It is expected to launch alongside the iPhone 18.

Battery life is still the big question for a phone this thin, so we'd wait for real-world reviews before buying.

Also Worth Watching: Wide Foldables

Among the upcoming flagship phones in India, wide passport-style foldables are the newest trend, especially after Apple's iPhone Duo. Oppo's Find N6 and a wide-format Motorola Razr are both expected to reach India. Some others, such as a new OnePlus Open, may skip India altogether.

Which Upcoming Flagship Phones in India Should You Wait For?

If you want the best value, wait for the Motorola Signature 27 or the iQOO 16. Both should offer the fastest Snapdragon chip for well under the price of a Samsung or Oppo flagship. The iQOO is the better pick for gaming and battery life, while the Motorola looks stronger for cameras and long-term updates.

If photography is your priority, the vivo X500 Pro is the one to watch, as long as it reaches India in time. And if you're an iPhone user who doesn't need a Pro, it makes sense to hold on until March.

On the other hand, if your current phone is struggling, there's no need to wait. Prices are unlikely to fall in 2027, and last year's flagships usually get the best card offers. Final Word

The upcoming flagship phones in India bring faster 2nm chips, much bigger batteries and better zoom cameras. They also bring higher prices, so it pays to be patient and pick carefully. We'll keep this guide updated as launch dates and prices are confirmed.
