Amazon Sale Loot Deals: The Truth About ₹1 Deals, ₹99 Stores and Amazon Bazaar
Are Amazon sale loot deals real? We bust common myths about ₹1 deals and ₹99 stores, explain Amazon Bazaar and show where real loot deals hide in the sale.
Every festive season, without fail, WhatsApp fills up with messages like "₹1 phone on Amazon, only today!" Some are harmless rumours, and some are scams. Real Amazon sale loot deals do exist, but they look different from what those forwards promise. Let us bust the myths one by one.
Myth 1: "Amazon Sells Phones for ₹1 in the Sale"
Fact: No. Genuine ₹1-type offers, when they appear, are usually limited promotions such as a free or near-free add-on with a minimum order, or a game where few people win. A brand-new phone listed for ₹1 is almost always a scam link, not Amazon. Therefore, never open such links or pay through them.
Myth 2: "The ₹99 Store Is Junk"
Fact: Not always. Low-price stores and sections are great for small essentials like cables, kitchen tools, stationery and accessories. However, check ratings, because quality varies by seller. In 2026, Amazon is promoting Amazon Bazaar, its budget section, with up to 70% off according to its sale announcement.
Myth 3: "Loot Deals Only Happen at Midnight"
Fact: Many do drop at midnight on day one, but Lightning Deals run all day with timers, and new phases bring new deals through the Great Indian Festival. So there are loot deals at many times, not just midnight.
Myth 4: "90% Off Means It Is a Loot"
Fact: However, sometimes it just means the MRP was inflated. A real loot deal is a price far below what the product usually sells for. Check the price history before you get excited; our guide on checking if a discount is real shows how.
