In 2026, Amazon has confirmed that the Great Indian Festival starts on 8 October for all customers. Like every year, it is expected to run in phases until Diwali (8 November 2026). Amazon's official offers include a 10% instant discount with SBI credit cards, debit cards and credit card EMI, and up to 5% cashback for Prime members on the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card.

Prime members normally get access about 24 hours before everyone else. If you are planning a big purchase like a phone, TV or laptop, that early window is when the best-priced stock sells out.

Every year Amazon ties up with one or two partner banks for an instant discount — typically around 10% on credit cards, debit cards or EMI, with a cap on the maximum discount per card. On top of that you will usually find exchange offers on phones and TVs, no-cost EMI and Amazon Pay cashback.
